Welcome to Operation Walk Maryland
Operation Walk Maryland is a branch of a new global campaign bringing hope to those in need of advanced surgical orthopedic treatments.We are a private, not-for-profit, volunteer medical service organization that provides free surgical treatment for patients in developing countries (and occasionally the United States) who have disabling arthritis or other debilitating bone and joint conditions, that have little to no access to life-improving care.
In an effort to create a lasting contribution toward the care of patients, Operation Walk Maryland team members educate in-country orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals in advanced surgical techniques, treatments for diseases, and the recovery procedures of hip and knee joint conditions
